Request for the issuance of a Private Sewer Construction Permit

To obtain a Private Sewer Construction Permit, the owner or occupant of a premises must, prior to any construction work, submit an EOA-S001 application to the Agency's service offices at 84 Athalassa Avenue, 2012 Strovolos from 8:30am to 1:45pm.

The documents required for the submission of an Application for a Construction License are listed in the Table below:

Application Form (EOA-S001)

Note: to be signed by the owner or co-owners of the premises, or the occupant of the premises. In the case of a company or management committee, the application must be stamped & a certificate of incorporation of the company must be provided.

Copy of the title deed or purchase and sale document

Note: must be up-to-date (last two years)

Two copies of recent topographical plans

Notes: note the parcel to which the proposed development refers

Copy of the water supply bill(s) of the premises

Required

Two copies of the floor plans of the building

Required It is required to include:

1. manholes for inspection or inspection,

2. the pipelines,

3. the pumping station (if applicable),

4. the liposuction trap (if applicable)

If a pumping station is indicated, it shall be submitted:

1. the specifications of the pump to be used

2. in the case of a block of flats, a second standby pump should be indicated

Where the premises, or part thereof, for which an application for a private sewer is made is used as a restaurant or tavern or fast food restaurant or grill or bakery or bakery or cafeteria or coffee shop or petroleum products sales station, or the use is such that it involves the preparation and sale of food, , a grease trap must be indicated on the submitted plans.

The licence fee is €10 €10 (ten euros) and the connection fee is €90 €90 (ninety euros).

For example, the owner of a premises for which an application is made and for which a connection point is used to discharge waste water into the central sewerage system will pay a permit and connection fee of €100 (one hundred euros). €100 (εκατό ευρώ).

Similarly, the owner of a building for which two connection points are used for the drainage of wastewater, will pay as a permit and connection fee the amount of €190 (one hundred and ninety euros).
