Today, Thursday 23 May 2024, the contract for the transfer and storage of the closed and pending planning and construction physical files of the Nicosia District was signed with Iron Mountain Company.
By the 1st of July, all staff employed in the Development Licensing Directorate of the new Nicosia Local Government Organization will be relocated to the new office premises at 84 Athalassa Avenue. By then all pending applications for licensing of the District will be transferred.
The 300,000 closed licensing files, which cover all developments in the Nicosia District, will be transferred to the contractor's premises by the end of September.
The Nicosia District Local Government Organization will be ready and fully operational as planned.
